Due to the roll out of COVID-19 testing in schools, John Port Spencer Academy are looking for volunteers to be part of our COVID-19 testing team.
Roles available are as follows;
- Test assistant – providing guidance to students on how to swab
- Processor – preparing test sample for analysis and interpreting result
- Registration assistant – guiding them to the right area for testing
- Cleaner – cleaning test stations when necessary
Volunteers working in schools must adhere to safer recruitment guidelines.

Once you have completed the application form along with your full work history, we will arrange a suitable time for you to visit John Port Spencer Academy, meet the team, visit the testing facility and have an informal chat about the roles available. Following this meeting, we will send you a link asking you to complete a DBS check and medical form to finalise the application process.
