Sixth Form Open Evening 2018

Dear Year 11 student,

I am pleased to invite you to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday 10^th October at 5.30pm until 7.30pm. The evening will help you gain valuable information regarding the courses we offer, the care and guidance provided to our students and, the facilities and opportunities that our Sixth Form students enjoy at the School.

The evening will follow the format outlined below:

• 5.30 pm – 7.30pm: Students and parents are free to talk to specialist subject teachers to find out more about our wide range of Level 3 courses (A Level, BTEC, Cambridge Technical and Extended Certificates). Staff will be based in Edale, Hathersage, and Flamstead.

• 5.30 – 6.00 pm: Presentation in Chatsworth Hall by Caroline Randall, Head of Sixth Form

• 6.30 – 7.00 pm: Repeat of Presentation by Caroline Randall, Head of Sixth Form

John Port Spencer Academy Sixth Form provides an excellent opportunity for you to begin a new chapter in your life and attain the qualifications you need to secure a place at university, apprenticeship or a promising career.
