John Port Spencer Academy Enactus Project

The Enactus project is an international scheme aiming to reduce 17 key issues identified by the UN.

A team of students are working hard to tackle five of these issues within our academy, centred around affordable uniform.

  • No Poverty
  • Quality Education
  • Reducing Inequalities
  • Responsible consumption and production
  • Climate Action

The project itself is a clothing recycling scheme. If you have any good quality John Port uniform that is no longer used, we encourage you to donate it to the Enactus project. We are asking for donations of: blazers, trousers, skirts, shirts, ties and lanyards, aprons, PE kits, coats or other warm clothing (scarfs) and school jumpers. It would be extremely helpful if donations are clean and sized. Donations can be brought to the main reception.

Uniform will be available at no cost to students who need it. The Enactus project uniform ‘shop’ will also be available to all students at the end of each half term.

If you have any questions about the project, please email the academy.
