GCSE Food Practical Exams

Last week, although the Academy did not have all students in, the GCSE Food Practical Exam still went ahead for all those able to attend.

Special thanks go to the students who completed a difficult exam in challenging conditions and a huge thank you to parents and carers who shopped and dropped to ensure a successful outcome.

As you can see, we were delighted with the results. Students selected a task to produce food for either the elderly, or to demonstrate an iron rich diet. The photos of the work of four candidates showcase the skill level and presentation abilities from students who also worked independently, whilst demonstrating a range of GCSE level work, hygienically and safely.

We enjoyed supporting during the exams and thoroughly enjoyed the tasting! Congratulation to all the students who took their exam.
